TIME AND DATE OF FUNERAL: Sunday, at 2:00 pm, April 12, 2009 PLACE OF FUNERAL: Jeffers Funeral Chapel INTERMENT: West Greene Cemetery MINISTERS: Rev Mike Hensley, Rev Amos Penley SURVIVORS: He is survived by his wife, Wilma Jean Jones of 55 years (married in 1954); two sons and daughters-in-law Steve and Debbie Jones of Greeneville, Donald and Teresa Jones of Mosheim , one daughter and son-in-law ;Star and Jerry Broyles of Greeneville and five special grandchildren Melissa Broyles, Dustin Broyles, Traci Jones, Roger Jones and Chris Jones; three special great grandchildren: Breanna Gash , Jaida Jones, Tristan Broyles,; Three brothers and one sister and brother-in-law Robert and Judy Jones of Dalgran IL., Ralph and Phyllis Jones of Mosheim, Richard and Lena Jones of Mosheim and one sister and brother-in-law ; Rita Ann and Carl Murr of Bulls Gap; 3 Sisters-in-law and Brothers-in-law Roma and Charles Scott of Afton; Jewell and Tom Ventry of Kodak, TN and Sam and Josephine Young of Newnan GA. and several nieces and nephews. PRECEEDED IN DEATH BY: Roy was preceded in death by his parents; Wilburn and Alma Jones: Ruth Orrick and Renell Jones and one brother R. J. Jones ACTIVE PALLBEARERS: George McCamey, Lyle Smith, Jack Proffitt, Bobby Franklin, Alfred Franklin, Ronnie Roberts HONORARY PALL BEARERS: Dr Charles Montegomery, Dr. Nathan Horner, People Tabernacle Church and Rev Gene Stills CHURCH MEMBERSHIP: He attended Peoples Tabernacle as long as his health permitted OCCUPATION: He was employed by Mosheim Home builders as a brick mason until his retirement. ORGANIZATIONS: He was a quite Christian man, a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather REMARKS: The Family will receive friends 3-7 Saturday at Jeffers Funeral and Cremation Service.
