NAME: Lonzo Payne
AGE: 91
RESIDENCE: Greeneville
PLACE OF DEATH: Mr. Payne died peacefully at his home, surrounded by his family. Many of his friends and neighbors remember him as an avid fisherman and beekeeper. For years Mr. Payne provided fresh honey to his loyal friends and customers. He shared his knowledge and passion with his children and grandchildren for his love of nature. One of his hobbies included gensing hunting. He was a proud veteran of WWII. Retiring after serving 27 years of services.from the Army Air Corp and Air Force.

G. Ferrier of Waynesboro VA; 2 Brother-in-law Paul M. Fields of Afton VA.and Robert Fields of Afton VA.; Several nieces and nephews; A beloved and special friend David Wallack of Miami, FL.
PRECEEDED IN DEATH: Wife Edith Fields Payne; parents Americus and Stella Payne; 2 brothers Curtis Payne and Ralph Payne, sister Sarah Mae Barkley.
