MINISTERS: Seth Kilday Hayes and Pastor Tracey Jones SURVIVORS: Wife of 62 years: Helen Maupin Kilday; 2 Daughters & 1 Son in Law: Julia Kay & Mike Hayes of Kelly Gap and Kimberly Ann Kilday Moss of Greeneville; 5 Grandchildren & their spouses: David L. & Chanda Hayes, Sara M. & Dr. Todd Aiken, Seth K. & Brandi Hayes, Matthew & Tara Moss, and Mary Moss; 10 Great Grandchildren: Marley Hayes, Taylor, Avery Hayes, Sydney Hayes, Jules Aiken, Eden Aiken, Trudi Aiken, Rayley Hayes, Corbin Hayes, Walker Hayes; 1 Nephew: Johnny McAmis PRECEEDED IN DEATH: 1 Son: Robert David Kilday II; Parents: Loftin & Junie Kilday; 2 Sisters: Eva McAmis and Gwendolyn Barkley PALLBEARERS: David Hayes, Seth Hayes, Matthew Hayes, Jesse Hayes, Mike Hayes HONORARY PALLBEARERS: Johnny McAmis REMARKS: Mr. Hayes served aboard the USS Frasier. He was aboard the ship in the battles of Iwo Jima, the Guadalcanal, and several other Pacific battles. His ship swept Tokyo Harbor for the USS Missouri to enter for the surrender ceremony. The Greene County Honor Guard will convey military graveside services.
