James Edison Bishop, 40, of Lonesome Pine Trail, formerly of New York, died Thursday at the home of his mother, Martha Bishop, in Mosheim.
"He loved life and lived it to the fullest, traveling all over the United States and abroad. He spent his most recent years as an interior decorator," his family noted.
Survivors, in addition to his mother, include his father: Billy Bishop of Greeneville; two brothers: Jeff Swatzell and Billy M. Bishop; two special nephews: Dustin Bishop and Samuel Swatzell; and a special niece: Jeanie Swatzell.
He was preceded in death by a brother: Bobby Swatzell.
A gathering of friends will be held from noon-4 p.m. Saturday at the home of his mother, 8025 Lonesome Pine Trail.
