NAME: Vickie D. Harmon, age 54, of Mosheim, passed away Sunday, March 21, 2010 at Johnson City Medical Center. The funeral service will be Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at 8:00 pm in Jeffers Funeral Chapel. The Graveside Service will be Thursday at 12 noon in Cross Anchor Cemetery with the Rev. Wayne Waycaster officiating. Surv Daughter & Son in Law: Kristie & Jeff Isaacs; Granddaughter: Briana Shiflet; Sister: Teresa Davis; Sister in Law: Cindy Carter; Stepfather: Bud Hughes of Phoenix, AZ; Aunts & Uncles: Phyllis Britton, Linda & Claude McLain, Billy & Gaye Owns, Billie Carter, Vickie Carter, Calvin & Janis Carter, Aubrey Carter, Holly Carter, and Judy Sexton; Niece: Tonya Davis; Special Friends of the family: Steve & Carrie Harmon; Special Companion: Charles “Chick” Dean; Special Cousin: Barbara Norton; Several additional cousins. She was preceded in death by her Parents: Rosco Carter and Mabel Hughes; Daughter: Sherri Harmon; Son: James “J.J.” Ramsey Jr.; Brother: Tommy Carter. Pallbearers will be Randy Carter, Doug Carter, David Carter, Roger Carter, Ricky Carter, Jerry Norton, Mike Caldwell. Ms. Harmon was raised in the Ottway community by her grandparents: Boston & Mildred Carter. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6-8pm preceding the funeral service at Jeffers Funeral & Cremation Service. Family and friends are asked to meet at Jeffers Funeral & Cremation Service by 11:00 am Thursday to go in procession to the graveside service.
