Betty L. Shipley, age 74, of Life Care Center of Greeneville Formerly of Locust Street, passed away Monday May 31, 2010, at Life Care Center of Greeneville, The funeral service will be Thursday June 3, 2010 at 2p.m. at Jeffers Funeral Chapel with Rev. Rocky Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Pallbearers will be nephews. Survived by 1 Brother and Sister-in-Law: Gene and Thelma G. Brown of Greeneville. Several Nieces and Nephews; Special Caregivers: Doris Brown and the staff of Cedar Wing of Life Care Center of Greeneville. She was preceded in death by her Parents: Troy C.and Elsie Brown; 4 Sisters: Velva Crum, Mona Hartman, Dorothy Clark, Grace Setser; 5 Brothers: Carl L. Brown, Raymond Brown, Robert Brown, James Brown, Clyde Brown.She was of the Baptist Faith.The family will receive friends Thursday 12-2 p.m. preceding the funeral service at Jeffers Funeral & Cremation Service.
