Nell Dotson, 76, of the Dotsontown community in Limestone, died Thursday evening at Takoma Regional Hospital.Mrs. Dotson retired from Greene Valley Developmental Center. She was the widow of Bert Dotson.Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law: Brenda and Jimmy Johnson of Limestone; a son and daughter-in-law: Randy and Lisa Dotson of the Newmansville community; her grandchildren: Amanda Dotson, Nathan Dotson, James Johnson, Jason Johnson, Brittney Johnson, and Theresa Carehair; and several nieces and nephews.
She was a daughter of the late Lula and Herbert Baskette, and was preceded in death by a daughter: Judy Lowe; a son: Rickey Dotson; a grandson: Dewayne Lowe; a sister: Dorothy Sexton; and two brothers: Bunt Baskette and Earl Baskette.The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. today at Jeffers Funeral & Cremation Service.The funeral service will be held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon in the funeral home chapel with interment in Mount Bethel Cemetery.Pallbearers will be Nathan Dotson, James Johnson, Jason Johnson, Billy Joe Johnson, Eric Cutshall, and Johnathan Cutshall.
