Alice Koelmel

Alice Jane Koelmel (aka Nanny), born to n Huntington NY in 1940, passed away at home on February 29th 2024.
She is survived by a son, Walter Koelmel, Jr.; 2 daughters, Tracy (Steve) Boyd & Carla Russell (widow of Robbie Russell); 5 grandchildren (who were her world), Walter III & Nicky Koelmel, Michelle & Alex Prentice, Crystal & Talal Seoud, and Russell & Kyle Brush; 8 great grandchildren, Bryce Prentice, Abigail Koelmel, Lucas & Skyler Paffrath, Logan Brush, Emily & Kora Brush, and Bartlett Seoud.
She was preceded in death by her devoted loving husband, Walter Koelmel, on February 21, 2024; her parents, Soren Al & Edna Brown; and her 3 brothers.
Nanny loved to read, play scrabble, bingo, the beach, traveling, doing laundry and being with her family. Nanny was full of faith and love and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She had a wonderful full life of love and laughter and will be missed forever by us all.
