Anna Nell (Rogers) Maddox, 73, of Greeneville, TN passed from this earthly realm and entered her\nheavenly home on April 10, 2023 while surrounded by family.\nAnna was born on August 21, 1949 in Greeneville, TN to the late Hal & Sylivia Rogers who in turn\nproceeded her in death. She is also proceeded by her siblings Mermon (Anna) Rogers, Marcellous\n(Phyllis) Rogers, Amelia (Joel) Machen, former spouse and lifelong friend Walter Gene Maddox, and\nneice Jennylynn Hunt.\nShe is survived by her one daughter Dale (Ozell) Stewart and only son Walter H. D. Maddox, both of\nGreeneville; brother Richard Ford of Kingsport; grandchildren Chadwick Moore, Michael Hollerman Jr,\nBreena (Aaron) Gillespie, Desmond Maddox, Ella Maddox, Amari Maddox, Aleia Maddox; great\ngrandchildren Alex Duckett, Taylen Gillespie, Aniyah Gillespie, and Ariyon Gillespie; nieces Christal\nMayes, Lastar Rogers, Nashala Livingston; nephews Marcellouce Rogers Jr, Sedrick Machen, Aaron\nRogers, Eric Machen, and Brandon Roark; special friends/family Nina Burks, Lynetta Robinson and Leon Carson.\nShe was a loving mother and great friend to many; a retired employee of Pet (Milk), Inc., lifelong\nmemeber of Tabernacle Presbyterian Church and a founding member of the Tabernacle Misson Soup\nKitchen.\nThe family will receive friends from 4-7pm Thursday at Jeffers Funeral and Cremation Service Downtown. The funeral service will be held at 2pm Saturday at Tabernacle Presbyterian Church with Rev. John Catts and Rev. John Burks officiating. The graveside service will follow in Zion Cemetery at Baileyton.
