Anthony Wayne McCrary of Mosheim went to be with his Heavenly Father on the night of November 9th 2022 at the age of 49 after a courageous battle with ALS. Anthony was a member of Community Baptist Church of Bulls Gap. He spent his years as a truck driver and mechanic. He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years to Jeanette McCrary. Two sons Chris McCrary and Tommy Bizuk (Elizabeth Miller), three daughters Brittany (Adam) Tolliver, Jacqueline (Brent) Bowman & Kayla (Peyton) Fletcher, five grandchildren Bradley & Nora Bowman, Maci & Trayce Tweed & Reid Tolliver, Mother Charolette McCrary, a brother Brian Keith (Pam) McCrary, & two sisters Lisa (Kevin) Johnson and Lorie (Jason) Clark and several nieces and nephews and a very special family friend Johnny Gaddis. He is preceded in death by his Dad, Wayne McCrary. The family wants to thank Amedisys Hospice and especially a special nurse, Kathy Duncan, for the care he received during this time. The family will receive friends from 4-7pm Friday at Jeffers Funeral Chapel at Afton. The funeral service will Saturday at 10am in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Greg Douthat and Rev. Allen Payne officiating. The graveside service will follow in Mt Carmel UM Cemtery in Mosheim. Pallbearers will be Johnny Gaddis, Danny Shelton, Elvis Norton, Phillip Gentry, Zachery Frye, Josh Frye.
