Betty Fletcher

Betty J. Fletcher, age 88, of Greeneville passed away Thursday September 24, 2026 at Signature Health Care. She enjoyed, while her health permitted, caring for her farm animals and livestock. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Phil and Sharon Fletcher, grandchildren Matthew and Dana Fletcher, Franklin Daniel and Brandi Fletcher, 3 great grandchildren Braeden Eli, Peyton Lee, and Dorothy Rae, special nieces and nephews Tammy and Luke Ellison and their children Dalton and Blake, Ricky Thornburg and his children Johnny and Ricky Jr., Joe and Gail Fletcher, Sally Thornburg, Donna Thornburg, and Guinn Simpson, brother-in-law and sisters-in-law Bueford and Jean Fletcher, Retha Thornburg, Florence Thornburg and Diane Thornburg. She was preceded in death by her husband Cordell Fletcher, parents John and Irene Thornburg, son Marty Fletcher, sister Thelma Willis, and brothers Wayne, James, Paul, and Freddy Thornburg. The graveside service will be Thursday October 1, 2026 at 10 am in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery with Rev. Melinda Sturm officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Greene County Animal Shelter in her memory.
