Bobby Bowers

Bobby Rex Bowers age 84, of Greeneville, TN. passed away Thursday at Johnson City Medical Center.

Bobby enjoyed talking with family and friends and telling stories.

He is survived by his wife JoAnn Bowers. Daughters and sons-in-law, Tina and Kenny England, and Bobbie Jo and Phillip Brantly. Stepchildren, Trisha Baskett, and Terry Starnes. Several grandchildren, including a supportive granddaughter Brandi Crum, and great grandchildren.
Brothers and sisters, Joe Bowers, Royce Bowers(Beth), June Roller, and Janet Sinks(Johnny). Special friends Pat and Lyndon Waddell. Several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Ben and Hazel Bowers. Stepchildren, Anita Tunnell, and Cindy Reaves. Sisters and Brothers, Nadine Hughes, Mary Nell Bowers, George Bowers, Luke Bowers, Gary Bowers, and David Bowers.

The family will receive friends Thursday at Jeffers Funeral Service Downtown from 4-6 pm the funeral service will be held at 6 pm in the funeral home chapel with Garrett Wilds officiating. The graveside service will be held Friday at 11 am in Cross Anchor Cemetery. Family and friends are requested to meet at 10 am to go in procession to the cemetery.
