BOBBY D MYERS Obituary (1936 - 2019) - Greeneville, Tennessee

Bobby D. Myers, 83, of the Caney Branch Community, passed away Friday, October 11, 2019 at Community Living Center VA Nursing Home at the James H. Quillen Medical Center. He was a member and attended O & S Chapel United Methodist Church as long as his health permitted. He was an Army Veteran and spent his time in Korea. He was a Charter member of the Caney Branch Fire Department. He was a farmer. He never met a stranger and was loved by everyone that knew him. He is survived by his wife of 63 years: Fredna Myers; daughter & son-in-law: Jimmy & Kim Brown; son & daughter-in-law: Richard & Michelle Myers; grandchildren: Victoria & Prestin Cooper, Valerie & Aaron Heater, Haven Brown, Levi Myers, and Mason Myers; great grandchildren: Ethan, Trevor and Corey Heater; brothers: Norman, Gene, & Kenny Myers. He is preceded in death by his parents: Lloyd & Ruth Myers. The family will receive friends Tuesday, October 15, 2019 from 1-3 & 5-7 PM at Jeffers Downtown. The Funeral will follow at 7PM in the Jeffers Chapel Downtown with the Rev. Mark Barber officiating. Greene County Honor Guard will conduct military honors Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at 10:00 at Mountain Home National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Danny Odell, Gene Gefellers, Wade Gefellers, Ronnie Lintz, Prestin Cooper, & Steve Myers. Honorary pallbearers are: Danny Campbell, George Fillers, All of the Church Family at O & S Chapel, and the staff of the Community Living Center.
