Bobby Joe Stills

Joe Stills, 77, of Greeneville, passed away on Thursday, January 7, 2016 at Takoma Regional Hospital due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He is survived by: wife of 46 years: Mary Lou Stills; 5 children and spouses: Joseph and Mariah Stills, Donna and Danny Cutshall, all of Greeneville, Robin Crouch, Allison and Jerry Flynn, Ruth Schoger; stepson: Bobby Scott Jr., all of Cleveland OH; 13 grandchildren: Taylor, Haden, Ashley, Heather, Amber, Katie, Michael, Jerry, Kristina, Jacob, Jeff, Denise, Ray; 5 great grandchildren, one special great granddaughter Emily; 2 sisters: Thelma Gregg and Phyllis Hensley; one brother: Vance and Ruthie Stills; special friends: Wayne Brooks, Petie Collins, Ronald Gunter, Betty , all of his many friends and the staff of Creekside Market, the staff of Caris Hospice, and Silver Angels; 2 special sisters-in-law: Cathy Allen, Joyce Stills; several other sisters and brothers-in-law; several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by: 1 daughter: Lisa Stills McFall; parents: Thomas and Mary Ellen Houston Stills; brothers: Cliff, Arnold, Bill, John, and Ralph Stills; 5 sisters: Eudema, Lois, Alberta, Flossie, and Carrie. Mr. Stills had been Mrs. Mary Lou Stills caregiver for the last few years. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 1-3 & 5-7 PM at Jeffers Funeral Service Downtown. The funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday at 2 PM with the Rev. Raymond Perry officiating. Interment will follow at Greenelawn Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be Ronald Gunter, Rick Johnson, Timmy Cutshall, Jerry Flynn, Jacob Flynn, Danny Cutshall. Thoughts and memories may be shared with the family at www.jeffersmortuary.com.
