Carla May Norton-Barnette Obituary (1960 - 2020)

Carla May Norton-Barnette, 60, of Limestone, TN, passed away at Johnson City Medical Center on Wednesday, October 21, 2020. She was retired from Greene Valley Developmental Center with 30 years of service. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 19 years: Troy Barnette; 2 daughters & son-in-law: Carol & Eddie Brewer, Lesly Flannery; grandchildren: Spencer and Storm Brewer, EJ and Eli Flannery; father: Veck Norton; 2 brothers: Buddy Norton and Richard Norton; 2 sisters: Vickie Norton and Cindy Norton; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother: Cynthia Norton; sister: Bunny Norton. The family will receive friends on Monday, October 26, 2020 from 5-7PM at Jeffers Funeral Services in Afton. The funeral will follow at 7PM with Pastor Tony Darnell. Interment will be in Barnette’s Family Cemetery in Duffield, VA.
