Cheri Jobe

Cheri Jeanette (Dykes) Jobe, 57, of the Pine Grove community, passed away on
September 30, 2023, after a lengthy illness.
Cheri was born March 22, 1966, in Greeneville, TN to Denzil and Ila Dykes, she
was the middle of five children. She attended West Pines Elementary and
graduated from North Greene High School in 1984.
She is preceded in death by her father, Denzil Dykes, grandparents Lee and Grace
Dykes and Howard and Jessie Charlton.
She is survived by her mother, Ila Dykes; husband, James (Billy) W. Jobe II;
daughter, Natasha Martindale (David); son, Craig Robbins; and grand-daughter
Xaria Martindale; stepdaughters, Anderika Heath and Keshia Pendleton; stepson,
James D. Jobe and 13 step-grandchildren. Brothers, Roger Dykes (Kathy) and Jim
Dykes (Tammy); sisters, Diana Hall (Bill) and Alicia Painter (Dale); several nieces
and nephews and her companion and best dog friend, Petey.
The family will receive friends from 4:00- 5:00 pm, Friday, October 6 at Pyburn
Freewill Baptist Church with the service to follow at 5:00 pm. Reverand Roger
Dykes officiating.
