Christopher Bowman

Christopher "Chris" C. Bowman, 57, of Greeneville passed away Thursday morning
at Life Care Center in Greeneville. He was kindhearted , loving and caring father,
son, papaw, brother, and friend who always thought of others before himself. His faith, hope, and belief in the Lord Jesus was steadfast.

Survivors include his son, Cameron (Rachel) Bowman, two granddaughters,
Whitley and Leighton Bowman; his father, Tommie H. Bowman, his sisters: Joy
(Aaron) Shelton, Betty (Jake) Finkle, sister-in-law: Renee Long. His aunts & uncles:
Juanita Kirk , Jimmy (Shirley) Bowman, Jerry (Faye) Bowman, Lee Ellen Turner, and
Linda Bowman. Many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Special friends: Kerry Emmett,
Steve & Scarlett Keller, Heather Franklin, Tommy & Mary Humble, Brian Munsey, and Raymond Fay.

Chris was the son of the late Barbara J. Bowman and was preceded in death by his
brothers Dougie and Stevie Bowman. His grandparents: Fowler and Kate Cutshaw ;
Howard and Edna Bowman.

The family extends our heartfelt thanks to the many medical organizations and their staff members who provided care and support as his health declined including those of Life Care Center of Greeneville , Amedysis Hospice, Greeneville Community and Bristol Regional Hospitals.

The family will have a graveside service on Tuesday, October 22 at 2:00 p.m at
Horse Creek Church of God Cemetery with the Rev. Mark Ellison officiating.
Pallbearers will be Kerry and Gavin Emmett, Aaron and Brodie Shelton, Steve and Austen Keller. Family and friends are requested to meet at the cemetery at 1:45 pm.
