Christopher Waddell

Christopher Ryan Waddell, age 32, of Greeneville passed away on July 25, 2023, due to complications of Type 1 diabetes. He was a 2009 graduate of Chuckey Doak High School. Chris was a fun-loving guy who cherished spending time with family as his health permitted. He enjoyed cookouts at his uncle Marty's house, late night campfires, and his mom's cooking. He also loved his sweet dog, Laci. He is survived by his mother, Terry Barrett, father, John Barrett; sister, Chayna Waddell; special niece and nephew, Neveah Waddell and Jaylee Jones, who he treated as his own children. His grandparents Terry and Jaclyn Waddell and great grandfather Willie Barrett. His special aunt and uncle Teresa and Todd Stowers that held him dear to their hearts. A special aunt and uncle Marty and Erin Waddell, several special cousins, special friends Jonathan Jones, Donnie Wills and Samantha Phillips. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Larry and Kathy Davis and grandmother Phyllis Barrett. His aunt Annette Waddell; uncle Mike Waddell; special friends Jennifer Davis and Amy Wills. There will be a Celebration of Life service at 4pm on Sunday July 30, 2023 at Jeffers Funeral and Cremation Service Downtown with Rev. Richard Long officiating.
