Conry Dyer

Conry Lynn Dyer, 75, of Afton was called home by our Lord in his sleep on March 23, 2025, at his home. He was a member of Afton Church, where he served as superintendent.
He tried to help everybody in his community that needed help and all his family.

Those he left behind to cherish his memory are two brothers of the home, Terry Dyer and Roger Dyer; four more brothers, Dale (Ellen) Dyer, Jackie Dyer, Kenneth Dyer, and Ricky (Shelby) Dyer; two sisters, Rita Dyer and Lois Dyer; and one step-sister, Shirley Cutshall; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Bonnie Dyer; sister, Evelyn Tweed; step-brothers and step-sisters, Mickey Dyer, Billy Gene Dyer, Conie Wykle, and Maggie Shell.

The family will receive friends from 12-3pm Friday March 28, 2025, at Jeffers Funeral Chapel at Afton. The funeral service will follow at 3pm Friday in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Rick Ballard officiating. The burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Military Honors will be conducted by the Greene County Honor Guard.

Pallbearers will be Derek Dyer, Billy Dyer, Gavin Dyer, Keaton Dyer, Clayton Tweed, Jerry Riddle, and Terry Rednour.

Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Combs, Fred Adams, Chris Gray, Jim Peters, and Tommy Cobble.
