David Scott Boyer Sr passed away on October 23, 2022 at the age of 53 in Greeneville, Tennessee. David was a dedicated son, father, grandfather, brother, and friend of many. \n\nEveryone who knew David knew he was a dedicated hardworking family man and a selfless soul. He had a heart of gold and a never give up attitude which reflected throughout his life with his family, friends, and projects. He was also never afraid to speak his mind and had a way of speaking his truth. Whatever he set his mind to he was determined to follow through until completion. It was hard to keep David still as his venturesome lifestyle always got the best of him; he was always chasing the next adventure. Those who knew him well have their own stories to tell even the “really Dave” or “yep, that was Dave” stories. \n\nDavid enjoyed a simple life and loved getting into adventures as well as a little mischief. He enjoyed kayaking, fishing, hiking – anything outdoors, working on his Chevrolet Truck, and especially spending time with family and friends. When it was football season, you could feel the passion flowing from him while rooting, along with his father Richard, for the Florida Gators. He especially enjoyed the time he had with all three of his children and grandchildren. \n\nDavid is survived by his three children, David, Jessica, and Theresa; his children-in-laws, Olivia, Joe, and Brandon; three grandchildren, Caroline, Andrew, and Sophie; parents Richard and Theresa; brothers Richard, Brian, and Douglas; and a host of aunts, uncles, sister-in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews and many many friends. \n\n David’s legacy will always carry on and he will truly be missed. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
