Doris M. Cady See, 94, of Afton, passed away Sunday, March 26, 2017 at Durham Hensley Nursing Home. Doris was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and mother in law. She was married to John F. See, in 1942. She was a homemaker, and loved to dance and sing, but above all, she loved her family. She is survived by her sons and daughters in law, Jack and Liz See, of MI, Wayne and Bea See, of Afton, Scott and Jeanne See, of Afton; daughter and son in law, Andrea and Don Tilmont, of NC; grandchildren, Dana, Jessica, Michell, Brigette, Chantal, Carla, Mark, Chris, Derek, Jason, Jennifer, Daniel, and Erin; great-grandchildren, Alex, Hamish, Madison Kilian, Mitchell, Philipe, Abigail, Marco, Adriana, ristian, Elliana, Liam, Jonah, Winter, Jade, Nickalos, Jacob, Tiffany, Taylor, Lexi, Haylee, Courtney, Kylee, Lilly, Thor, Mary Jane, Willow, Krowe, Aurora, Athena, and Kaliyah. She was preceded in death by her husband, John F. See; sons, Jim See and Bruce See; parents, Harold and Katherine and Cady; grandson, Johnny See, III. The family expresses a special thank you to, Carla Fellers, a very good friend. The family will receive friends Friday, March 31, 2017 from 4-6pm at Jeffers Funeral Service Downtown. The funeral service will follow visitation at 6pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Bill Wing officiating. A private interment will be held in Fairview CP Cemetery.
