Dorothy Dotson, age 75 of Greeneville, passed away at her home Wednesday, March 2nd, 2022. \n\nDorothy is survived by her devoted staff, Jill Duncan, Esther Gunter, Kendra Sneed, Trey Justice, Morgan Johnson, Austin Metcalf, Chenoa Wimberly, Christy Blevins, Joan Bierhals, Sarah Shelton, Priya Sell and her special friend, Melissa Scott. \n\nDorothy lived at home with her family until she moved to Greene Valley Developmental Center in 1990. She moved to Greene County Skills in 1996 and made her home there until her death. \n\nDorothy had beautiful, vibrant red hair that matched her delightful disposition. She loved to spend time outside in good weather as long as she was able. She loved her collection of purses and was always eager to show them to her friends. \n\nDorothy was preceded in death by her parents, John Henry and Viola Moore Dotson and brothers Charles and Henry Dotson, Jr. \n\nVisitation will be Wednesday, March 9. 2022 from 1pm - 2pm at Jeffers Afton location. The graveside service will follow at 2pm in Graceland Memorial Gardens with the Reverend Adam Gaddis officiating.
