Dorothy Elma McMillian, (Dot), born to Adam and Bessie Covey on February 9,\n1933, peacefully went to sleep in death at the age of 90, on February 14, 2023.\nShe was the last survivor of twelve children.\n\nOne of Jehovah’s faithful servants for more than 60 years, Dot was preceded in\ndeath by her husband, James Irvin McMillian (Herb) and daughter, Kathy\nAbercrombie (McMillian). She was survived by son, James Michael McMillian and her\ndaughter, Lori Gayle McMillian.\n\nDot was blessed with five grandchildren, James Alan McMillian, Jason\nAbercrombie, Tiffany Jensen (Abercrombie), Michael Arrowood and Myriah Sinclair (Arrowood), four great grandchildren, Noah Abercrombie, Christopher Lee Sinclair,\nLandon James Sinclair and Anita Gayle Sinclair. She is also survived by countless\nnieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was greatly loved by many\nother children whom she took the time and patience to love, and who referred to\nher as Dot Dot.\n\nShe cared deeply for her family and neighbors, not out of obligation, but because\nof who she was. It cannot be counted the number of weddings she catered,\nwedding and baby showers she planned and the multiple times she had friends\nand family for turkey dinners. She was always the first to offer if you needed your\nhouse painted.\n\nShe will be forever loved and remembered until we meet again. At her request there \nwill be no formal services and her body will be cremated.
