Eddie “Peanut” Morgan age 74 of Afton, Tn passed away February 21, 2023 @ The Johnson City Medical Center. He Retired from General Motors, Michigan He enjoyed playing Guitar with family Members, Gospel Music and Old Mopar Hot Rods, Peanut always said he was BLESSED with All his Family. He always looked forward to going to Church Services and was A faithful member of The Upper Room Church in Chuckey, Tn. \nHe is survived by his two sons, Dwayne Morgan (Joyce) of Belleville, Michigan, David Morgan of Michigan, 3 Brothers Teddie Morgan Greeneville, Tn, Jack Morgan (Shirlene) Mosheim, Tn, Terry “Bucky” Morgan Greeneville, Tn, 2 sisters Alice Morgan Afton, Tn, Pamela Ashby Afton, Tn, 5 Grandchildren, 5 Great-Grandchildren, And A Abundance of Nieces/Nephews Great Nieces/Nephews and Great-Great Nieces/ Nephew’s All of which was his Favorite! \nPreceded in death by his Parents Rev. Jack F. Morgan and Lettie “Mandy” Morgan, Brothers Freddie Morgan and Gary Morgan.\nPeanuts wishes were to be cremated and a graveside service will be held Saturday March 11, 2023 at 1pm at Graceland Memorial Garden Cemetery Afton, TN. Pastors Jack & Shirlene Morgan will perform the services.\nThe family ask in lieu of flowers to donate to The St. Jude’s Children's Hospital and any & all donations that the Family receives will be donated in Peanuts' name to St. Judes as he was a Loyal supporter of St. Judes. He was loved by many and will be missed dearly. Jeffers Funeral and Cremation Service are in charge of the arrangements.
