Etta "Maw" Parton age 74 of Tusculum passed away at her home Wednesday January 19, 2022. She is survived by her husband of 28 yrs: JC Parton Jr., 2 daughters and son-in-law: Marcy Feathers, Zonya and Jimmy Cureton, step son: Chris Atchison, grandchildren: Cody and Lindsey Blake, Christain Feathers, Timothy and Callie Cureton, great grandchildren: Hunter Blake, Justin Blake, 2 brothers and sister-in-law: Arthur and Nancy Darnell, Clifford Darnell, 2 sisters: Eliza Hensley, Frances Z Johnson, several nieces and nephews, sister-in-law and brother-in-law: Cindy and Carl Underwood of Knoxville, special friends and caregivers: Julia Freeman, William Lockheart, and Jerry Butler. She was preceded in death by her parents: Lee and Ellen Darnell, 2 brothers: Curtis and Isaac J Darnell, special nephew: Gary Johnson, granddaughter: Jesica Curetone, infant great granddaughter: Ashlyen Blake. The family will receive friends from 12-2pm Saturday at Jeffers Funeral and Cremation Service Downtown with the graveside service at 3pm Saturday in Shiloh CP Cemetery with Pastor Chris Blake officiating.
