Evelyn Wilburn

Evelyn Joyce Wilburn age 76 went home to be with Jesus on February 15, 2025 surrounded by her love ones. She attended Little House of Pray and Mt. Bethal FWB Church as long as her health permitted. Evelyn spoke her mind no matter who was around. You always knew where you stood with her, that is what made her so special to her family and friends. She will be missed horribly. She is now in the presence of Jesus.
Evelyn was proceeded in death by her husband of 60 years, James Wilburn. Twin Boys. One sister Bennie Kelly. Two brothers Michael and Frank Crum. Her parents Nellie and Ben Crum and several nieces and nephews.
Evelyn is survived by one daughter Elizabeth and husband Eric Fillers of Greeneville, one son Alex and husband Trampas Wilburn of Elizabethton. Grandchildren Misty Marshall and Randy Darnell of Greeneville. Great Grandchildren Tyler Marshall and fiancé Megan Moseley, Madison Marshall, Katelynn Marshall and significant other Bryson Collins, RJ Darnell, Briley, Coleson, and Chazean Darnell. Three Great Great Grandchildren Blake Marshall, Alaina Marshall and Hudson Collins. Sister in law Linda Crum and several nieces and nephews. Along with life long friend who was not a sister by blood but sister by heart Brenda Wilburn.
The family will receive friends from 1 pm to 3 pm and 5 pm to 7 pm on Tuesday, February 18th, 2025. Then from 12 pm to 2 pm on Wednesday with Funeral Service to follow. Pastor Dwayne Steele will officiate. Burial will follow at Union Chapel Cemetery in Horse Creek.
Pallbearers will be Eric Fillers, Randy Darnell, Tyler Marshall, RJ Darnell, Rodney Greene and Stephen VanSwaringen.
