Garland "Moe" Anthony Ramey Obituary (1965 - 2025)

Garland "Moe" Anthony Ramey was born August 5th, 1965 in Kingsport, TN to Tyler and Carrie Ramey. He worked on roofs, pools, and cars all his life. It was nothing unusual to walk in his front door and a motor be on a motor stand torn apart in his living room. He loved his family, especially his 19 grandkids. He lived for his grandbabies. His door was always open with a no-knock order. He expected you to walk right in and sit on down. He was a light in the dark in so many ways in life. He is survived by sisters, Brenda Roberts and Shirley Lopez; bother, Bruce (Linda) Ramey; brothers, Earnest Ramey and Jeffrey Ramey; son, Thomas Ramey and wife, Nokomis Champion and their children: Liam, Glen, Aurora, Garland, Alora and Carrie Ramey; son, Tyler Ramey and his children: Payten Smith and Bryson Ramey; special nieces, Jeanie (Wayne) Dilks and their son, Levi, Francis Wynn; nephew, Chris (Danielle) Ramey and their kids: Bradley Ramey and Brianna Sanders; niece, Angela Salyers; nephew, Will Ramey; nephew, Thomas Wynn, Jr and his children: Parker Wynn and Oaklee Wynn, Thomas Wynn III; niece, Sylvia (Alex) Hensley and their kids: Garrett, Julia, Allison, Jackson, Dana and Zoey Hensley; special great nephews, Gage and Corbin Ramey; and special friends, Brandon Marshall, Dennis Richardson, and Johnny Necessary. He was preceded in death by nephew, Thomas Ramey; special friend, Thomas Wynn, Sr.; mother and father, Carrie and Tyler Ramey; brothers-in-law, Alvin Roberts and Bill Roberts; sister-in-law, Brenda Higgins; sisters: Caroline Guy, Mary-Sue Dykes and Phyllis Roberts; and brothers: Carl Ramey, Wayne Ramey, Glen Roberts, Richard Ramey and James Ramey.
