Garry C. Lamb age 73 of the Glendale Community passed away at home on Saturday April 1, 2023. He was a US Marine Veteran and a member of the Greene County Honor Guard which continued as long as his health permitted. He attended Wayside Baptist Church as long as his health permitted. He retired from Parker Hannifan. Garry loved to farm, fish, and hunt. He is survived by his wife of 30 yrs Lynda Lamb, children Kim and Lynn Ricker, Cheyenne and Brian Bowman, granddaughter Tylan and Justin Adams, grandsons Cadyn and Danielle Bowman, Datyn Bowman and girlfriend Piper Gaby, Sylas Bowman, great grandsons Jensen and Van Adams, sister and brother-in-law Margene and Charles Ottinger, niece and nephew John and Heidi Deyton, Kristy and Keith Cansler, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Denver and Marilyn Waddell, Karen and Dennis Jones, 2 aunts Wilda Chandler, Nelle Shipley, special cousin and friend Bryce Lamb. He was preceded in death by his parents Byrd and Berla Lamb, great granddaughter Isla Adams, father-in-law and mother-in-law HR and Edith Waddell, sister-in-law and brother-in-law Rita and Fred Banks. The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm Monday with the funeral service to follow at 7pm Monday at Jeffers Funeral Chapel at Afton. Pastor Leonard Cutshaw will officiate. The graveside service will be at 10 am Tuesday in GraceLand Memorial Gardens with the Greene County Honor Guard conveying military honors. Pallbearers will be Justin Adams, Cadyn Bowman, Datyn Bowman, Sylas Bowman, Lynn Ricker, Brian Bowman, John Deyton. Honorary Pallbearers will be William Hixon Lamb, Max Funk, and all his friends with the Greene County Honor Guard. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Garry's memory to the Greene County Honor Guard C/O American Legion, 101 Longview Dr, Greeneville, TN 37745.
