Geniav Evans Eden

Geniav (Evans) Eden, age 82 of Bulls Gap, Tennessee passed away Tuesday, April 7th at Laughlin Health Care Center.
She worked many years as an employee of Southern Electronics in Mosheim and Magnavox in Greeneville. She also worked as a caregiver. Her greatest joy was knowing the Lord Jesus Christ as her Savior. For several years, she was lead vocalist for a gospel group and sang in many Greene, Hawkins, and Hamblen County churches.
She is survived by her daughter Pamela and husband John Couch, grandsons Jeremy and wife Holly Couch and Jacob Couch, great-grandsons Tyler Couch and Jaxon Couch, her sister Patti and husband John Reade, and many nephews, nieces, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents Clearence and Pauline Evans, brothers Alonzo Evans, I.H. Evans, Steve Evans and Albert Cecil Evans, sisters Georgia Ruth Evans and stillborn infant
girl.

The family will receive friends Friday, April 10 from 4-6pm at Jeffers Funeral Service Downtown with the funeral to follow at 6pm, officiated by Pastor Donald Lynn Swatzell.
