Georgia Louise Ball, of the Rheatown Community, walked her final mile into the arms of her Saviour, Monday afternoon. She was the oldest living member of the Albright United Methodist Church. She held many offices in the church as well as being a Sunday School teacher and youth director for many years. She loved her church and all the people in it. She loved to sing and sang in different groups over the years as well as the choir. She worked at Magnavox, Life Care West and as a caregiver until she was 80 years old. Her number one priority was her family. She had an unconditional love for her children and grandchildren, and poured her love out to each and every one of them. She was a shining example for each one and showed the kind of life each one of us should lead. She only saw the good in people and was quick to forgive.\n \nShe is survived by 2 daughters: Patsy & James (Jimmy) G’Fellers, with whom she made her home, Karen Littleton, 2 sons-in-law: Jackie Weems, Rockie Tweed; her 2 “boys”: Bobby and Vickie Campbell, Gary and Paula Campbell; grandchildren: Randy Lamb & Angie, Lesa & Tommy Thompson, Mike & Michelle Lamb, Rhonda & Michael Stanton, Al & Jennifer Lamb, Missy & Pat Lee Lloyd, Kevin & Carla Weems, Tammy & Ben Eskola, Jamie Shelton, Tracy Littleton, Jessica Littleton & Jacob, Suprenia Randolph, Brandy Hinkle & Jason, Bobby & Michelle G’Fellers, Tommy & Jodi G’Fellers, Taylor & Greg Bowman, Madison & Hunter Rutherford, Lance & Kandice Campbell and Lee Campbell; 45 great grandchildren; 11 great-great grandchildren and 5 on the way; 2 sisters: Marie & Bill Thompson, Wanda & Leroy Lynch; 1 brother: Clifford & Joyce Lamb; 1 sister-in-law: Geneva Ball Foshie; many nieces and nephews; special lifelong friends: Helen Brown and Hazel Ricker.\n \nShe was preceded in death by her husband: Henry Ball; 3 daughters: Faye Lamb, Janice Weems, and Linda Tweed; sons-in-law: James Shelton, Bud Lamb; grandchildren: Tina Shelton, Mark Dobson; great grandchild: Gavin Lamb; mother and father: Annie and Andrew Lamb; sisters: Rena Fay Lamb, Viva Kate & Sam Malone; brothers: Ray & Lois Lamb, Howard & Violet Lamb, and Arlin & Diane Lamb; in-laws: Ebb & Ollie Ball, Floyd & Arvetta Ball, Ethel & John Anderson, Viola & Guy Whittiker, Bill & Beulah Ball, Carl & Claireen Ball, Clyde Ball, Terall Ball.\n \nThe family will receive friends on Friday, August 13, 2021 from 1-6PM at Jeffers Funeral Chapel in Afton. The funeral will follow at 6PM in the Chapel with the Rev. Barry Sarver of Bluefield, VA and Rev. Roy Fowler of Rheatown officiating. Interement will be Saturday, August 14, 2021 at 11AM at Pleasant Vale Cemetery.
