Geraldine Jeffers

Geraldine T. Jeffers, age 77, went home to be with the Lord on December 14, 2022.

Survivors include four children: Amanda Jarnigan (Michael), Amy Lambert, George Lynn Jeffers (Alicia), Paul Jeffers; seven grandchildren: Alicia Carr, Angel Bunch, Cheyenne Bunch, Alexis Shelton, Kim Helbert, Valene Aguilar, Sadie Collins; granddaughter in law, Trulina Johnson; twenty-two great grandchildren, great grandchild: Cheyenne Johnson who she thought of as her own; two sisters: Charlotte Secrest, Inez Davenport (Gene); sisters in law: Billie Carter, Sylvia Cain, Janice Rutherford, Martha Jeffers; brothers in law: Howard Jeffers, Jimmy Jeffers; several nieces and nephews; special friends: Sue Jeffers, Alan Smith.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years: George Jeffers; her parents: Walter and Ella Tolliver; grandson: Bobby (BJ) Johnson.

Family will receive friends Monday from 4 to 7 pm at Jeffers Funeral and Cremation Downtown location. Family and friends are asked to be at Jeffers Downtown on Tuesday at 12:30 to go in procession to Mohawk Cemetery for the Graveside service, to be held at 2:00 pm.

Pallbearers will be: Michael Shipley, Alan Smith, Donald Arwood, Roy Arwood, Christian Horne, Michael Jarnigan, Ricky Hammonds.
