Herbert Richards

Herbert L. Richards age 78 of Greeneville, passed away Jan 12, 2025 at his home.

Herbert retired after 30 years from Greene Valley Development.

He is survived by his wife of 34 years Wanda Richards. Children, Micheal Richards, Jesse (Penny) Richards, Michelle (Todd) Edwards, Aric (Miranda) Smith, and Jason (Wendy) Smith. Several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Brother, George Richards of Iowa. Sisters, Ann (Ronnie) Norton, Mary Ruth (Lloyd) Morelock, and Jean (Heath) Varady. Brother-in-law, Johnny Starnes. Several nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his father, Coy Penley. Mother, Atlas Peters, Stepfather Merle Richards. Mother-in-law and Father-in-law, Jim and Kate Britton. Sister, June Starnes.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 4-6 pm at Jeffers Funeral Service downtown.
