Hubert Lynn Chandler

Hubert Lynn Chandler Jr., age 72 of Greeneville, went home to be with the Lord, surrounded by his family, on April 9, 2024 at the Johnson City Medical Center.

Lynn was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

He is survived by his wife of forty- eight years, Brenda Chandler. One son, Tommy Chandler (Linda). Grandchildren, Cody Chandler (Katie), Crystal Gouge (Rider) and Tommy Dale Chandler Jr. and Justin Lynn Chandler. Several great grandchildren. Brothers and Sisters, David Chandler (Judy), Brenda Taylor (Bill), and Mary Ricker (Wayne). Brother-in-law, Bill Hensley. Special sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Linda and Jackie Linkous. Several nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his son, Hubert Lynn "Peewee" Chandler. Parents Hubert Lynn and Doris Chandler. Sister Ann Hensley.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 1-3 and 5-7 pm at Jeffers Funeral Service at Afton. The funeral service will be Monday at 2 pm in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Ken Thacker and Rev. Seth Weese officiating. Interment will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, Cody Chandler, Tommy Jr. Chandler, Justin Lynn Chandler, Jeremiah Linkous, Rider Gouge, and Crystal Gouge. Honorary pallbearers, Teddy Partin, Charlie Taylor, Matthew Piatts, and Cory Mahan.
