Hughie Tipton Obituary (1954 - 2024) - Greeneville, Tennessee

Hughie Lee Tipton, age 69, of Mosheim, passed away New Years Day, with his family by his side, at Greeneville Community Hospital. Hughie was a loving soul, who was friendly and kind to everyone he met. Hughie was a skilled musician; he was lead guitar player in several groups for many years. To know Hughie was to love him, he will be missed by his family. He is survived by his wife, Kay Tipton. Sister and brother-in-law, Janie and Keith Toth. Brothers Jerald, Wesley and Junior Tipton. Sister-in-law, Christine Tipton. Stepchildren, Tim and Tammy Tipton, Tina Tipton, and DeWayne Tipton. Eight grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews. Special Friends, Eric Laughlin and Berry Tullock. Preceded in death by his parents James and Jerrleen Tipton and Cindy Bridges. Brother Gary Tipton. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and ICU staff of Greeneville Community Hospital for their kindness and care for Hughie. Hughie has requested no formal services.
