Jackie Ray Broyles, 70, of Afton, passed away Wednesday, December 25, 2019 at his home.\n \nJackie was a Veteran of the U.S. Army. He was retired from the State of TN.\n \nHe is survived by his wife of 46 years: Shirley Chandler Broyles; 2 daughters and sons-in-law: Tina and Eric Ricker, and Cindy and Anthony Percell; 5 grandchildren: Kennedy Brown, Reagan Brown, Emily Ricker, Kendra Percell, and Boone Percell; sister and brother-in-law: Judy and Rollie Holtsinger; brother and sisters-in-law: Gale and Kathy Doty and Johnny and Mary Jo Chandler; several nieces and nephews.\n \nHe was preceded in death by his parents: Elmer “Ted” and Ama Nell Broyles.\n \nThe family will receive friends Friday, December 27, 2019 from 4-7PM at Jeffers Funeral Chapel at Afton. The funeral service will be held Saturday, at 1PM in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Ronnie Duncan officiating. Interment will be in Graceland Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
