Jim "Redhorse" Davis Obituary (1948 - 2022)

Jim "Redhorse" Davis, age 74, of the Sunnyside community, passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport He is survived by his wife of 40 years: Cathy House Davis; 1 Son: Chad Davis; 1 Brother & Sister in Law: Joel & Camilla Davis; Sister: Marjorie Hilton; Brother in Law: Gary House; Several Nieces and Nephews; He was preceded in death by his parents: June Davis and Dana Davis; 1 Sister: Kay Short He spent 8 years in the Air Force during the Vietnam Era. He was a hard worker who had a love of animals and was a jack of all trades. He was proud of his Native American heritage and loved and often spent time with his Native American brothers and sisters. This passed year Jim rededicated his life to his Lord and Savior and was baptized. Memorial contributions may be made to any animal rescue or donate your time doing something good for someone else in Jim's memory. There will be a celebration of life held at a later date.
