James Farris

James E. "Eddie" Farris age 90 of Greeneville passed away Friday February 14, 2025. He was the owner of Farris Home Builders for over 50yrs in Greeneville and surrounding counties. He is survived by his 3 children Ann Schofield, Karen and Mike Gentry, and James "Butch" Jr. and Karen Farris, grandchildren Michael Schofield, Michelle and Hunter Brown, Jeremy and Amanda Gentry, Brandon and Ashley Taylor, Bethany Farris and MJ, and Brent Farris, 6 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren, 2 sisters Mary Vandermark and Carol Farris, sister-in-law Ruth Farris, brother-in-law Gary and Helen Cutshaw, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife June Farris, son-in-law Larry Schofield, father Clarence Farris, mother Annie Lee Farris, step mother Alice Farris, sisters special sister Lavern Mines, Margaret, Louise, Ellen, and Betty Sue, brothers Clarence Jr., John, Bobby, Frank, and Dale. The family will receive friends from 4-7pm Monday February 17, 2025 at Jeffers Funeral and Cremation Service Downtown. The graveside service will be at 11am Tuesday in GreeneLawn Memory Gardens with Rev. Jim Fillers officiating. Family and friends are asked to meet at 10:15am Tuesday at the funeral home to go in procession. Pallbearers will be grandchildren.
