James Edwin (Jim) Fletcher, 75, of Tusculum, passed away early Friday morning after a yearlong fight with lymphoma.\n\nJim loved the Lord, his family, his dog Snickers, and camping. He had read the entire Bible 25 times and was a member of Greystone FWB Church, a 50+ year member of Greeneville Masonic Lodge, and Kerbela Temple.\n\nJim was preceded in death by his son Tony Fletcher, his parents Carroll and Glenna Fletcher, and his father- and mother-in-law Reed and Faye Harrison. He is survived by his wife of 56 years Rita, his son Aaron and his wife Teresa, and his granddaughter Miriam, whom he loved the very most.\n\nHe is also survived by his brother Bill Fletcher and his wife Anna, his sister Carolyn Podhradsky, his brother- and sister-in-law Donnie and Barbara Wright, and many nieces, nephews, and beloved cousins.\n\nThe family will receive friends from 5-7pm Tuesday May 30, 2023 at Jeffers Funeral Chapel at Afton with a Masonic Service to follow at 7pm Tuesday. The graveside service will be at 11am Wednesday at Greystone FWB Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Hopson officiating. The family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 10am Wednesday to go in procession to the cemetery.
