The Lord has called our dear loving mom, wife, daughter, and grandmother to sing in his choir in heaven. Janice Lynn Doolittle went home to be with the Lord on May 2, 2022. She attended New Lebanon Baptist Church as long as health permitted. She loved and worshiped and loved to volunteer. She loved to make people smile and laugh, dancing, and singing. She was employed at the Austin Company and McDonalds for 5 to 6 years. She loved to do crafting and tend to her flowers and garden.\n\nShe is survived by her loving husband Marion Doolittle of 45 years; 2 daughters: Christina Shelton, Melissa & Frank Broyles; 1 son: James Doolittle; 5 grandkids: Gabe & Carrie Shelton, Isabel Shelton, Stephanie & Josh Ball, Dustin & Jesse Broyles; loving mother: Mary Malone; 3 brothers: Homer &Freda Malone, Shobert & Joyce Malone, Richard Malone; 2 nephews & spouses: Nathan & Beth Malone, Brian & Beth Malone; niece: Amanda Davis; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.\n\nShe was preceded in death by a son: Marion Harold Doolittle, Jr; her well known loving father: Homer Bert Malone Sr, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.\n\nThe family will receive friends Thursday 4-7 pm at Jeffers Funeral Service Downtown. The funeral service will follow at 7 pm Rev. Eddie Malone and Rev. Nathan Reynolds officiating. The graveside service will be Friday at 11 am in Cross Anchor Cemetery. Family and friends are requested to meet at 10 am at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery. Pallbearers will be James, Dustin, Nathan, Brian, Logan, Gabriel, Cody, and Daniel.\n\nAt moms request, friends and loved ones are asked to make your donations to the funeral home to help defray the funeral expenses.
