Janice Johnson

Janice C. Johnson, age 79, of Chuckey passed away Saturday October 24, 2026. She attended as long as her health permitted Dixon Chapel Church of God. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Brad and Heather Johnson, grandchildren Ethan, Ean, and Evan Johnson all of Greeneville, TN and Morgan Cox of Seattle, Washington, brother and sister-in-law Roger and Peggy Carter, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Beverly Carter, and Bonnie Johnson, Rocky and Janet Johnson and Gerald Oliver, nieces and nephews Crissy and Thomas Tawney, Kenny Carter, Michael Carter, Karen and Alan Cobble, Mickey Johnson, Tim Johnson, Derrick Johnson, Vickie Johnson, Nancy Johnson, David Johnson, Isaiah Johnson, and Kevin Oliver and her Dixon Chapel Church family. She was preceded in death by former husband Gene Johnson, son Doug Johnson, parents Howard and Catherine Carter, brother Wilson K. Carter. The graveside service will be Thursday October 29, 2026 at 4:30pm at Liberty Hill Cemetery with Pastor Steve Hux officiating.
