Jaquay "Jay" Davis

On November 19, 1991, Jaquay "Jay" Hans Davis was placed by the Lord on this earth. On February 15, 2025, he joined the heavenly choir to forever sing his song.

In leaving this earth, he leaves behind his fiancé, Brittany Delargy, of 10 years; his baby boy, Samuel Davis; his two bonus sons, Shia and Asher Delargy. He also leaves behind his nanny, Phyllis Anderson; Sisters Jeanette and Fantasia Elliott; aunts, Angela Anderson and Cheree (Derrick) Bruce; uncles, Bennie Joe (Kim) Anderson, Jr. and Jason Anderson; many cousins (who are more like siblings than cousins): Chloe and Trey Anderson, Spencer (Elisha) Moore, Azura Anderson, Sierra Davis, Megan Anderson, and many more-especially Tracy and Jason Champion. He also leaves behind his godmother, Joanna Arbuckle; and friends that were like brothers, Nathan and Dakota Suggs, Brian Buckner, and Terry Whitaker.

When he walked through those pearly gates, he was reunited with his mother, Stephanie Davis; brother, Tyrell Davis; dad, James Henry Davis; grandfather, Bennie Joe Anderson, Sr; aunt, Carolyn Brice; uncles, Ricky Brice and Bussie Miller.

The celebration of life service will be held Sunday, February 23 at 4pm at Jeffers Funeral and Cremation Service Downtown.
