Jeffery Morris

Jeffery Duwayne Morris, age 58, of Greeneville, went home to be with Jesus, Sunday, June 23, 2024 at Johnson City Medical Center.

He was a loving Son, Father, Husband, and Grandfather

He was a 1983 graduate of Chuckey Doak High School and an employee of the Asheville Highway Food City. Jeffery loved the American Flag and always wore it with pride.

He is survived by his mother Gail Morris, Sister and Brother in Law Teresa and Jim Falls, Wife of 20 years Patricia Morris, Daughters and Sons in law Cassandra and Eric Johnson and Krystal and Nic Bucklew, Grandchildren Walter Dale Johnson, Savannah Bucklew, Skylar Bucklew, Cobey Bucklew, and Caelyn Bucklew, 4 Step Children and their spouses, several nieces and nephews.

He was the son of the late Walter Morris. He was also preceded in death by his grandparents Lenard & Wilma Viles and Walter Sr & Mary Morris.

Pallbearers will be Neal Morris, Jim Falls, Eric Johnson, Caleb Garber, Nic Bucklew, Jordan Fann. Honorary Pallbearers will be James "Moose" Burke, James Lane, Ed Snead, Doug Isley

The family will receive friends Saturday from 1-4 PM at Jeffers Funeral Chapel at Afton. The funeral service will follow visitation at 4:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Tanner Mundy officiating. Interment will follow in Graceland Memorial Gardens.
