Jessica Nicole Colter, 21, of Greeneville, passed Sunday, December 6, 2020, due to an automobile accident.\n \nJessica was a beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, and friend. She could light up any room with her beautiful smile and infectious laugh. Jessica attended First Baptist Church of Greeneville, Tennessee. Her love and faith in Christ were an important part of her life. She would often pray with her little brother Ty, giving thanks for her family and friends. She graduated from Greenville High School in 2017. She was currently enrolled in ETSU’s nursing program where she made the Dean’s List. She had dreams of becoming a Physician Assistant.\n \nShe is survived by her mother and step-father: Jennifer & Tracy Gass; father and step-mother: Jason & Stephanie Colter of Camden, TN; 4 brothers: Ty Gass, Tanner Gass, Trebor Gass, and Mason Barner; 4 sisters: Jaycee Colter, Baylen Barton, Megan Gass, and Macy Gass; grandparents: Jim & Charlotte Price, Marie Colter, Jerry & Woody Colter, Rosella Gass “Nana”; great-grandmother: Mary Sterling; aunts and uncles: Joshua & Amanda Pierpoint, Scott & Tammy Colter, cousins: Bella Pierpoint, Jesse, Dillion, and Lauren Colter.\n \nThe family will receive friends on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Jeffers Funeral Services Downtown from 10AM-12PM. A graveside service will follow visitation at 12:30pm in GreeneLawn Memory Gardens with Dr. David Greene and Rev. Ronnie Mitchell.
