James "Jim" Whitfield Woods, 80, went to heaven on August 21.

Jim is lovingly remembered by his children: Julie, Ashley, and Bobby Woods, his grandchildren: Ananda, Riley, Emerson, Asher, Mason, and Laura Woods, his daughters in law: Bethany and Hailee Woods, and all who knew him.

Jim lived an upstanding Christian life and was known for his kindness, generosity, and gentlemanly way.

Services are 2 p.m. Saturday, August 31, at First Baptist Church Greeneville, with a receiving of friends from 1-2 pm.
