Jimmy Lee “Big Jim” Malone, 49, of Chuckey, passed away on Sunday, September 19, 2021, at Johnson City Medical Center. He was Vice President of Greene County Express. He was dedicated to making sure he got his drivers home. The biggest blessings in his life were his sons, Jacob and Ricky, as they rode the highways together, he raised them by the example of the life he lived.\n \nHe is survived by his wife : Kim “Kritter” Malone; 2 sons: Jacob Malone, Ricky Malone; brother: \n\nDavid Malone; 4 sisters: Charity & Will Vogt, Amanda Malone Gulley, Tabitha Busalacchi, Casey & Kenneth Bowen; 2 brothers-in-law: Curt Wilhoit & Krista Bowman, Ted & Kim Wilhoit; 1 sister-in-law: Danielle & Rev. Bradley Seaton; mother-in-law: Patricia Wilhoit; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.\n\n \nHe was preceded in death by his mother: Patricia A. Malone; grandparents: John H. & Lucy Kate Brown, Omer & Nell Malone; father-in-law: Phil Wilhoit.\n \nThe family will receive friends on Friday, September 24, 2021 from 10AM-12PM and 1-3PM at Crossroads Cowboy Church. The funeral will be at 3PM at Crossroads Cowboy Church with Pastor Tim Goss and Rev. Bradley Seaton officiating.
