Joye Rene' Marion

Joye Rene' Marion age 67 of Limestone, passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2026.

Rene' was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, Sister, Aunt, great aunt and friend. She had very strong faith and attended Fairview Presbyterian Church as long as her health permitted. Her grandchildren were her world and the light of her life.

She is survived by her husband of forty-eight years, James (Jimmy) Marion; daughters: Amande' (Ralph) Myers, Jamie (Jason) Taylor, Sarah (Michael) Shelton, and Amber (Andrew) Fullen; grandchildren: Jordan (Ethan) Kinser, Loryn Burns, Ashlynn Gosnell, Zakary Taylor, Brodie Gosnell, Charlie Taylor, Madison Shelton, Emma Shelton, and Olivia Taylor; great grandchildren: Ryleigh, Josey, and Karson Kinser, Lakelyn and Tucker Burns, and Lakelynn Sams; her beloved pet: Bay-Bay; step-mother: Mary Renner; sisters: Regina (Randy) Earley, and Mary Sue Renner; sister-in-law: Barbara Marion; nephews: Ivis (Bethany) Earley and Randall (Lea) Earley; several great nieces and nephews; special friends: Bobby and Vickie Campbell, Jerry and Melissa Ripley, Howard Collins, Peggy Sams, Adam and Kelly Gaddis, Chris and Vanessa Bowers, and Rick McKay.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother: Ivis Jr. and Virginia Renner; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Hurshel and Ruth Marion; brother: Eric Renner; an infant son; grandson: Dakota Sams; and fur baby: Molly.

The family would like to give special thanks to nurses Zonya Cureton, Sarah Styons, Cristina Conrad, Alex Vega, and Caris Healthcare.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 5-7 pm at Jeffers Funeral service at Afton. The funeral will follow at 7 pm with Pastor, Ronnie Duncan, Minister David Byrd, and Rev. Andrew Fullen officiating. The graveside service will be Sunday at 2 pm in Pleasant Vale Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Ralph Myers, Jason Taylor, Michael Shelton, Ethan Kinser, Zakary Taylor, Ivis Earley, Randall Earley, and Bobby Campbell.
Honorary pallbearers will be: Jerry Ripley, Howard Collins, Bobby Townsend, Randy Earley, Brodie Gosnell, Allan Grubbs, and Matthew Marion.
Family and friends are requested to meet at 1 pm at the funeral home to go in procession.
