Karen Darnell Svette passed away on July 15, 2021 at Johnson City medical Center peacefully with family. She was a kindhearted woman. Raised on a farm and graduated from Chuckey-Doak High School. She and her husband have lived and experienced many things.\n \nShe is survived by her husband: Doug Sevette; step children: Josh Svette, Ashley Svette, friend Robin Childress; brother: Ronnie Darnell (Connie); sister: Tammy Darnell; brother-in-law: Dwayne Svette (Kim), Bill Svette; aunts: Betty & Bob Cutshall, Mary Ruth & Butch Teglas, Alyne Cutshaw, Judy Wren; mother: June Singleton (Dick) and many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.\n \nShe was preceded in death by her father: Ralph Darnell; mother-in-law: Virginia Svette.\n \nThe family will receive friends on Saturday, July 24, 2021 from 4-6pm at Jeffers Funeral Chapel at Afton.
