Kyle Swinney, 85, of Afton, passed away at his home Sunday, November 10, 2019. He attended Oak Gove Free Will Baptist Church. He was an Army Veteran. He was stationed in Denver, Colorado. He retired from Weavexx.\n \nKyle is survived by his wife: Mary Jane “Janie” Swinney; 2 sons and daughter-in-laws: Randy & Katie Swinney of Afton, Robby & Tammy Swinney of Clear Springs; 1 daughter: Lisa Swinney Willis of Chuckey; 3 grandsons: Cody & Emily Swinney, Cory Swinney and fiance’, Jamy Shelton, Jamey Willis; 4 great grandchildren: Tristan Swinney, Cara Swinney, Jimmy Willis, Alyssa Willis; 1 brother: Billy Swinney of Bulls Gap; several nieces and nephews.\n \nKyle is preceded in death by his parents: Luther & Minne Swinney; brothers: Gene Swinney, John Swinney; sister: Francis Gibson.\n \nThe family will receive friends on Monday, November 11, 2019 from 4-7pm and Wednesday, November 13, 2019 from 12-2pm at the Jeffers Funeral Chapel in Afton.\nThe funeral will be Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at 2pm in the Afton Chapel with the Rev.
