Lacy M. "Mickey" Brown age 77 of Greeneville passed away Sunday at the Greeneville Community Hospital. He was a member of Raders Union Church and retired from Magnavox/Five Rivers after 40 years, having served as union president for several years. His passion and hobby was yard work and Christmas decorations each year. He is survived by his wife of 40 years Gladys Brown, son Michael Brown, step son Shane Smelcer, step daughter Gina Wilhoit, 4 grandchildren Shainah and Shyanne Wilhoit, Jennifer Beasley, Bella Owens, brother and sister-in-law Buddy and Ann Brown, sister JoAnn Brown Luttrell, 2 brothers-in-law and sister-in-law Jack and Patsy Story, Bud Story, very special friends Lonnie Livesay, Orgil Bible, and Mike Swift, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death parents Halk and Katie Brown, sister and brother-in-law Betty and Charles Hinkle, sisters-in-law Patsy Brown and Goldie Story, mother-in-law Myrtle Wilhoit. The Graveside Service will be Wednesday at 10am in Brown Springs Cemetery. Rev. Roger Cutshall and Rev. William Travis will officiate. Family and Friends will meet at the funeral home at 9 am to go in procession to the cemetery. Pallbearers will be Adam Luttrell, Robert Bailey, Eli Cutshall, Martel Bible Jr, Dalton Lund, and Chris Livesay. In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in his memory. Jeffers Funeral and Cremation Service is in charge of the arrangements.
