Larry K. Penley Obituary (1962 - 2021)

Larry K Penley, 59, of Greeneville passed away Friday November 26, 2021 at Greeneville Community Hospital East. He is survived by 2 Daughters and son in laws Marizona and Stephen Bentley, Mollie Penley and Zachary Champion; 2 sons and daughters-in-law Terry and Diana Collins, Jay and Lauren Collins; grandchildren: Landon Bentley, Rylee Bentley, Breaonna Collins, Waden Collins, Melody Collins, and Leigha Collins; 2 sisters and brother in law Lois Collier, Donna and Jim Ryburn, 2 brothers Allen Penley, Wayne Penley; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and many other friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Vicky Penley, father Jay Penley, mother Mary Hicks, sister Brenda Bruce. Pallbearers will be Stephen Bentley, Zachary Champion, Steve Morris, Kevin Currence, Mark Stewart, and Mark Wheeler. Honorary pallbearers are Kevin and Lisa Currence, and Mark and Stephanie Stewart. The family would like to thank you all for everything you all did for Larry. The family would also like to thank the ICU and Respiratory Therapy staff of Greeneville Community Hospital East for caring for Larry during his illness. The family will receive friends from 4-7pm Tuesday at Jeffers Funeral Chapel at Afton. The graveside service will be 2pm Wednesday at Pine Grove Cemetery Horton Hwy with the Rev. Rick Bowser officiating. The family will meet at 1pm Wednesday at the funeral home to go in procession for the graveside.
